Iskandar Investment Berhad

The Catalytic Developer of Iskandar Malaysia

Iskandar Investment invests in projects with the potential to transform the Iskandar Malaysia region over the long term. Despite the global economy crisis in 2009, with the strong support from its stakeholders, Iskandar Investment signed key agreements for development of projects in two key clusters - education and leisure and tourism.

As the catalyst of change, Iskandar Investment promotes, coordinates and invests in strategic and catalytic initiatives through joint ventures or contribution of land, either through sale or lease, or granting of a concession or development rights.

The stakeholders of Iskandar Investment are Khazanah Nasional Bhd (an investment holding arm of the government of Malaysia), the Employees Provident Fund (a national social security organisation which operates through a provident fund scheme in Malaysia) and Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor Sdn Bhd (a Johor state government-linked company).
